Playful Children’s Book Art

I have a complete picture-book manuscript for children aged 4–7 and now need it brought to life through playful, colorful illustrations centered on human characters. The palette should be bright and inviting, with expressive faces and energetic compositions that keep young readers engaged from page to page.

The story includes only people—no animals or fantasy creatures—so the artwork should focus on diverse, relatable kids and adults in everyday settings. Once the signed-off sketches are approved, I’ll need the final pieces supplied as high-resolution CMYK files ready for print, plus RGB versions for digital editions.

Deliverables
• Rough storyboards or thumbnail sketches for layout approval
• Full-color finals for each agreed page or spread (exact count decided after you review the manuscript)
• Layered source files (PSD or Procreate) and flattened print-ready PDFs at 300 dpi

Acceptance Criteria
• Colors remain vibrant and consistent across all illustrations
• Character designs stay on-model throughout the book
• Final files meet the printer’s bleed and margin requirements
