Moderate-Detail Pencil Portrait Sketch

I’m commissioning a realistic pencil portrait of one person’s face. The finish has to be clean black-and-white and sit somewhere between loose gesture and photo-realism—so, moderate detail that clearly captures likeness without obsessing over every pore.

Here’s what I need from you:

• A high-resolution scan (300 dpi or higher) or a crisp digital photo of the completed drawing, suitable for print up to A4.
• The original file format (JPEG or PNG) plus a lightly compressed web version.
• One round of minor tweaks after I review the first proof—mainly shading adjustments or subtle line refinements, nothing major.

Smooth graphite gradients, confident line work, and good control of mid-tones are what will win this job. If you usually refine sketches in Photoshop or Procreate before delivering, that’s fine as long as the final image still feels authentically hand-drawn.
