Illustrations for Preschool Storybook
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am finishing a German, education-focused picture book for preschoolers (ages 4–6) and now need the images that will bring it to life. The manuscript is set; what’s missing are warm, colourful illustrations in a classic children-book style—clear shapes, friendly faces, plenty of expression, nothing overly realistic or abstract. I’m aiming for artwork that instantly speaks to young readers while subtly supporting the learning elements woven into the text.
Here’s what I’d like you to deliver:
• Full-colour, print-ready illustrations for every story page plus a front cover (exact page count to be confirmed together after you’ve seen the manuscript).
• Layered source files (PSD, AI or Procreate) at 300 dpi, along with flattened PNG/PDF versions for my printer and ebook converter.
• Consistent characters, backgrounds and palette throughout, so the book flows visually from start to finish.
• Unlimited small revisions on sketches, and up to two rounds after colouring, to be sure each scene hits the right note for our young audience.
• Transfer of full commercial rights upon final payment.
