Fantasy TTRPG Art Package

Job ID: 40473172

Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD

I’m wrapping up the writing on my tabletop-RPG rulebook and now need a consistent set of fantasy illustrations to bring the pages to life. The visual tone I’m after leans firmly into classic high-fantasy—think dramatic lighting, believable anatomy, rich colour palettes, and a painterly finish that still reads clearly when printed at digest size.

Deliverables
• 12–15 character portraits covering a spread of generic heroes, villains, and everyday NPCs (head-and-shoulders, transparent or simple backgrounds).
• 20+ spot images of weapons, armour pieces, and distinctive magical artifacts.
• One full-colour, wrap-around cover (front, spine, back) at 300 dpi, sized for a 6"×9" print run, with a layered file so the title text can be adjusted.
• Up to 10 small “chapter break” fillers—sigils, maps, or atmospheric vignettes that match the overall style.

What I’ll provide
A detailed brief for each illustration, reference mood boards, and layout templates so you know exactly where each piece will sit in the book.

What I need from you
Rough thumbnails for approval, clean linework, and final coloured renders in layered PSD or Procreate files alongside flattened PNGs/TIFFs. All art must be original; no AI-generated or stock elements.

Timeline & communication
I’d like the bulk of the work completed over the next six weeks, checking in weekly via chat or a quick call to keep everything on track. Milestones can be arranged around batches of portraits, item sets, and the cover.

If this sounds like your wheelhouse, send through a portfolio link that shows your fantasy work—portraits, equipment studies, and any previous book covers are especially helpful. I look forward to collaborating!

I have a specific style i am looking for and have attached samples. Note. Though these are made using AI...NO AI work will be accepted.
