I have a recent family photo that I’d love to transform so it feels like an oil painting while still keeping everyone instantly recognizable. The goal is a tasteful, “oil-enhanced” finish—something that sits between photo-realism and painterly, not too stylised nor overly brush-heavy.
Here’s what I’m after:
• Moderate level of detail: facial features should stay clear, but I don’t want every pore; a balanced, softened stroke effect is ideal.
