Custom Anniversary Map Illustration

I’m commissioning a bespoke illustrated map as a gift for our upcoming wedding anniversary. The piece needs to be entirely custom-drawn, not a stock or templated design, and should showcase several meaningful landmarks that I’ll supply once we start.

The overall feel should be romantic and keepsake-worthy, yet you’re free to bring your own artistic flair—watercolour washes, ink line work, or digital tablet techniques are all welcome as long as the result looks handcrafted. If you see creative ways to weave in subtle extras—perhaps our names hidden in the foliage or the date styled on a signpost—feel free to suggest them, but the landmarks remain the priority.

Deliverables
• High-resolution print-ready file (minimum A3 at 300 dpi, CMYK)
• Web-resolution version for sharing
• Source file (PSD, Procreate, or Illustrator) so we can resize if needed

Once we agree on a direction, I’d like to review a rough sketch, a coloured draft, and then the final artwork. Let me know your typical turnaround time for each stage and share a couple of map illustrations you’ve completed before so I can see how your style might translate to this project.
