Abstract Sci-Fi Comic Illustrator

I’m writing a Sci Fi and mystery comic set in a near-future Jacksonville and need an artist who can bring the story to life with an unmistakably abstract flair. The book will rely on flowing shapes, bold color fields, and inventive panel layouts rather than strict realism, so comfort with experimental visual storytelling is essential.

Here’s what I’m after:
• 22–24 finished sequential pages for the first issue, plus a striking cover.
• Character sheets that highlight expressive faces, distinctive silhouettes, and emotional range.
• Page compositions rich in detailed backgrounds that capture the layered, neon-lit cityscape while still letting the action breathe.
• Dynamic action scenes—chases, zero-gravity fights, and suspenseful revelations—that feel kinetic even within the abstract style.

I’ll provide full scripts, reference mood boards, and an outline of key story beats. You’ll translate those into thumbnails, then pencils/inks (or digital equivalents), and finally fully colored pages ready for print and web distribution. I’m open to working in clips—concept art first, then sequential pages once the look is locked.

Although I’m based in Jacksonville and local collaboration would be a bonus, remote artists are absolutely welcome as long as communication stays prompt and we can hop on the occasional video call to review progress.
