Job Overview

We're building a distributed Symfony SaaS platform currently hosted on Cloudways, and we're ready to expand into DigitalOcean, AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.

We’re looking for a DevOps architect and Symfony deployment expert to help us plan and design platform-specific deployment strategies. Our team will execute the implementation, so we’re looking for someone to guide the process, not build it end-to-end.

Scope of Work

Map out deployment solutions for:
- DigitalOcean App Platform or Droplets
- AWS (Elastic Beanstalk, App Runner, or ECS)
- Google Cloud (App Engine or Cloud Run)
- Azure (App Service or containerized approach)

Recommend infrastructure choices based on:
- Symfony compatibility
- Multi-app orchestration (2–11 apps per SaaS deployment)
- Multi-database support (1–7 databases per deployment)
- CI/CD deployment with DeployHQ

Deliver documentation and optionally meet with our team to explain the approach

Must-Have Experience

- Familiar with DeployHQ, Git-based deployments, and SSH provisioning
- Advanced knowledge of Symfony PHP application architecture
- Direct experience deploying to DigitalOcean, AWS, GCP, and Azure
- Comfortable working with PaaS and container-based platforms
- Experience with SaaS applications that include multiple apps and databases
- Ability to produce clear, implementation-ready architecture and deployment docs

- Deployment design documents for each platform
- Diagrams and recommendations on services per provider
- Written walkthroughs or checklists for our dev team
- Optional live sessions to review or clarify
