NATO C2 FAS Automation Development
Budget: $10,000 – $20,000 USD
Purpose: Develop automation code for NATO C2 FAS applications (JChat, JOCWatch, NIRIS, NCOP, CoreGIS) to demonstrate software automation and cloud technologies. Support NATO’s Innovation Continuum 2025, including the “SHINE” event in Istanbul and “GLOW” coordination.
Scope:
Automate deployment and configuration of specified C2 FAS applications, prioritizing JChat, JOCWatch, and NIRIS.
Use NATO Software Factory for code development and testing.
Follow NCI Agency directives for automation, trusted containers, and cloud integration (AWS GitOps environment).
Participate in Innovation Continuum events, including Cyber Resilient CIS Experiment.
Deliver a demonstrator for 1-click operational scenario deployments.
Contribute to final reports and experimentation.
Deliverables & Milestones:
Kick-off Meeting (KOM): Contract signing + 1 week
Weekly progress meetings
Intermediate Workshop (IW): KOM + 1 month (demonstrate JChat, JOCWatch, NIRIS automation)
Integration Event (IE): 1–5 Sep 2025, Troia, Portugal
Final Event (FE): 13–17 Oct 2025, Istanbul, Türkiye
Final Reports (FR) & Project Closure Report (PCR): 15 Dec 2025
Competencies:
Bachelor’s in Computer Science/IT or 6+ years’ experience.
Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS preferred), IaC (Ansible, Terraform, Helm), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), DevOps, and Linux/Windows administration.
Preferred: AWS certifications, NATO C2 software experience, Agile methodologies.
Reporting: Weekly updates, meeting minutes, and a Project Closure Report.
