LVS Direct Routing (DR) Setup Using Keepalived

Requirements

Setup 2 Keepalived instances, 1 Master and 1 Backup using DIRECT ROUTING mode (DR) L4 load balancing 2 HAProxy dedicated servers doing load balancing on 2 backend NodeJS dedicated servers. Keepalived will be acting as a ROUTER. All what is required from the applicant will be making the request flow from Keepalived to HAProxy nothing more.

Provided

Cloud provider is Hetzner
Floating IP (provided)
SSH access to 2 cloud instances and 4 dedicated servers with all their public IP’S.
All the resources will be in the same network having fresh Ubuntu 22.04 installation with docker installed.
2 Cloud instances will be having Keepalived installed with keepalived.conf in place but the service will not be running.
2 Dedicated servers will have HAProxy already installed.
2 Dedicated servers will have a NodeJS server returning a simple JSON printing request details.
