FastAPI AWS DevOps Deployment
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
My FastAPI–PostgreSQL backend is ready for production. I now need a DevOps partner to take it live on AWS while keeping the monthly bill sensible.
I already sketched a deployment plan that puts the application in Amazon EKS running on EC2 worker nodes behind a Load Balancer, but it is only half-finished. I need you to sanity-check that plan, fill in the gaps, and then build out the infrastructure and automation.
What I still need:
• Complete, documented deployment plan covering architecture diagrams, resource sizing, and rollback strategy
• Production-grade EKS cluster created and configured, including node groups and networking
• CI-CD pipeline wired from my Git repo to EKS for zero-downtime deployments
• Load Balancer tuned for FastAPI latency requirements and health checks
• Cost optimisation steps applied such as auto scaling, spot or savings-plan guidance, and rightsizing recommendations
Acceptance will be based on:
• One-click pipeline that runs tests, builds images, pushes to ECR, and deploys to EKS
• All infrastructure reproducible (CloudFormation or similar) and committed back to the repo
• Detailed runbook explaining scaling, monitoring, and cost controls
• Successful smoke test showing the API live behind the Load Balancer with SSL
