Egyptian Huawei Cloud DevOps
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need an experienced DevOps engineer, comfortable communicating in English/Arabic and ideally based in Egypt to take full ownership of our Huawei Cloud environment. The first priority is a thorough server evaluation that captures current load, configuration, and pain points. From there you will drive three parallel work-streams:
• Performance tuning: profile every service, eliminate bottlenecks, and recommend right-sizing where needed.
• Cost optimisation: analyse our usage patterns, align instances with demand, and flag any overspend.
• Security enhancements: harden the stack, close unused ports, and ensure best-practice IAM policies.
Alongside the optimisation work I also need you to redesign and manage access distribution. This includes setting clear role-based permissions, documenting the access matrix, and making sure new credentials follow least-privilege rules from day one.
Deliverables I expect:
1. A concise evaluation report with metrics, findings, and quick-win recommendations.
2. An implementation plan for performance, cost, and security improvements, followed by execution and validation.
3. A final access-control schema, applied in Huawei Cloud and handed over with full documentation.
Our internal team is available for daily stand-ups and I’ll provide all existing architecture diagrams and credentials on kick-off. If you know your way around typical DevOps tooling (Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins or similar) that’s a plus, but the critical requirement is proven expertise on Huawei Cloud.
Looking forward to working with someone who can tighten our infrastructure, save us money, and keep everything secure while staying accessible in English/Arabic and close to our time zone.
