DevOps Consultant - Application Deployment Strategy & Knowledge Transfer
Project Overview
I'm a software engineer looking for an experienced DevOps consultant for a one-time project to help me design the optimal deployment strategy for my new application and teach me the process so I can manage deployments independently going forward.
Application Architecture: I have 4 separate repositories that need to be deployed:

3 Frontend Applications (React.js): Each subdomain has its own React repository

This is a fixed-scope consulting project focused on knowledge transfer and mentoring, with defined deliverables and a clear completion point.
What I Need Help With
Deployment Strategy Consultation

Analyze requirements for 3 frontend applications and 1 API backend
Compare pros/cons of different cloud platforms for frontend vs backend deployments
Design a scalable, cost-effective architecture for the full-stack application (3 UIs + 1 API)
Create deployment roadmap with clear milestones for each repository
Recommend optimal architecture for frontend-to-API communication and connectivity

Hands-On Implementation & Teaching

Walk me through the deployment process for both React frontends and Node.js API
Set up CI/CD pipelines for all 4 repositories (3 React apps + 1 Node.js API) with detailed explanations
Implement Docker containerization for React.js applications and Node.js API with Prisma
Configure Node.js API deployment with PostgreSQL database connections, Prisma migrations, and environment management
Set up React frontend deployments with API endpoint configuration and build optimization
Configure PostgreSQL database hosting, backup strategies, and connection security
Set up monitoring, logging, and backup strategies across the entire React/Node.js/PostgreSQL stack
Document everything so I can manage all 4 deployments and database independently

Knowledge Transfer Sessions

Conduct screen-sharing sessions where you explain while implementing
Answer my questions and help me understand the "why" behind each decision
Provide learning resources and best practices documentation
Review my attempts and provide feedback as I learn

Microsoft Azure - Expert level with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure services
Digital Ocean - Droplets, App Platform, Kubernetes, and deployment workflows
Vercel - Deployment pipelines, serverless functions, and optimization

Core Skills:

Docker & Containerization - Experience with React.js builds and Node.js API containerization
CI/CD Pipeline Design - Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, handling React deployments and Node.js API deployments
Full-Stack Architecture - React frontend to Node.js API connectivity and deployment patterns
Database & ORM - PostgreSQL deployment, Prisma migrations, and database environment management
React.js Deployment - Static site generation, build optimization, environment variable management
Node.js API Deployment - Express/Node.js applications, environment configuration, and scaling
Infrastructure as Code - Terraform, ARM templates, managing both React apps and Node.js/PostgreSQL infrastructure
Monitoring & Logging - Observability across React frontends and Node.js API with PostgreSQL

Final Q&A and knowledge transfer session covering the complete setup
