DevOps Infrastructure Validation Project

I’m finalising an authorised assessment and validation initiative that hinges on robust infrastructure management across a cloud-first stack. The core environment lives in AWS, and several services are surfaced through Firebase, so deep familiarity with both is essential.
What matters most to this engagement is retrieval: every component—data, logs, metrics—must be available quickly and reliably for downstream analysis. You’ll review the current architecture, tune or redesign where needed, and establish automated paths from code commit through to production release.
Key elements you’ll handle
• Audit and document the existing AWS accounts, VPC layout, IAM policies and server topology.
• Optimise data retrieval flows between our real-time Firebase layer and backend micro-services.
• Build or refine CI/CD pipelines that support blue-green or canary patterns, backed by infrastructure as code (Terraform or CloudFormation preferred).
• Introduce monitoring, alerting and cost-visibility dashboards so the team can track retrieval performance in real time.
Acceptance criteria
1. Infrastructure diagrams and a written validation report are delivered and reviewed.
2. Automated pipeline runs prove zero-downtime deployments at least twice in a staging replica.
3. Retrieval SLA (p99 < 200 ms for priority endpoints) is met under load-test conditions and documented in Grafana.
