DevOps Engineer with MERN Expertise

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with hands-on MERN stack experience to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining efficient DevOps pipelines and environments, while also supporting and enhancing backend/frontend systems built on the MERN stack. This hybrid role requires a strong grasp of infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD practices, and cloud platforms alongside the ability to understand and debug full-stack applications.
DevOps Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CloudFormation
Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure (AWS)
Ensure system reliability, scalability, and security
Implement logging, alerting, and monitoring (ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
Support containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment processes and troubleshoot issues
MERN Stack Responsibilities
Collaborate with developers to understand application architecture and optimize infrastructure accordingly
Review and assist with backend (Node.js/Express.js) and frontend (React.js) code when needed
Optimize database performance (MongoDB) and manage migrations/backups
Provide support during development and deployment phases of the MERN-based applications
Participate in code reviews and architecture planning discussions
Required Skills
5+ years of experience in DevOps
Strong experience with AWS, or Azure
Experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines and managing infrastructure as code
Proficient with Docker and Kubernetes
Strong scripting knowledge (Python)
4+ years of experience with React.js, Node.js, MongoDB, and Express.js
Understanding of REST APIs, JWT, and Microservices
Version control with Git and experience in Agile development environments
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
