We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer to architect, scale, and maintain a next-generation live social commerce marketplace optimized for the GCC region. This cutting edge platform integrates high concurrency real time video streaming, live interactive shopping, and robust multimodal AI pipelines (including vision language models and text-to-speech technologies). In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex cloud architectures and reliable open-source self hosted stacks, ensuring maximum uptime, ultra low latency, and elite security parameters for thousands of concurrent global shoppers.

Key Responsibilities
● Infrastructure Architecture & Scaling: Architect, scale, and optimize highly resilient infrastructure capable of supporting high-traffic live commerce events and real time video streaming feeds across multi region deployments.
● Data & Warehouse Management: Deploy, tune, and maintain high-performance analytical data warehouses (e.g., ClickHouse) and transactional databases to facilitate lightning fast data retrieval and streaming analytics.
● AI Pipeline Orchestration: Build, support, and scale the foundational infrastructure needed to run high-throughput multimodal AI pipelines, including vision language models (VLMs) and text-to-speech (TTS) services.
● Automation & IaC: Formulate robust, fully automated deployment pipelines, continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) workflows, and comprehensive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates for rapid and error-free environment provisioning.
● Security & Monitoring: Implement complete end-to-end security protocols, secure Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), advanced identity management controls, and automated multi tiered monitoring and alerting systems across both cloud and self hosted environments. Required Skills & Qualifications ● Experience: Minimum of 7 years of proven, hands on experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Enterprise Cloud Architecture roles.
● Orchestration & Containerization: Deep, production level expertise with Docker and Kubernetes for managing microservices at scale. ● Distributed Systems: Strong background designing and managing highly complex, distributed microservices architectures with an emphasis on reliability and fault tolerance. ● Hybrid/Self-Hosted Stacks: Solid, proven experience deploying, managing, and maintaining self hosted and open-source infrastructure components outside standard cloud native environments.
● SecOps & Networking: Profound understanding of fundamental security frameworks, robust VPC configurations, secure identity management architectures, and proactive automated monitoring setups. Preferred & Nice-to-Have Skills
● High-Performance Databases: Practical experience working with high-performance, real-time analytical databases like ClickHouse or similar OLAP engines.
● Live Video/Audio Infrastructure: Experience handling high-throughput, low-latency live media applications using WebRTC or open-source streaming frameworks (e.g., LiveKit).
● DigitalOcean Infrastructure: Deep familiarity with DigitalOcean's infrastructure ecosystem, Droplets, managed services, and deployment paradigms.
● Professional Certifications: Active top-tier cloud certifications (such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional, or equivalent SRE credentials).
