DevOps Engineer – Cloud Infrastructure & CI/CD for Scalable App -- 2

Summary
We’re looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to help us set up and manage the infrastructure for a modular, high-performance application. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with Kubernetes (EKS), AWS, Cloudflare, and CI/CD pipelines for microservice-based systems.

You’ll collaborate with our backend developer to deploy services efficiently, automate workflows, and ensure scalability, reliability, and observability across environments.

Responsibilities:

- Define and manage infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar).
- Set up and maintain EKS clusters, Cloudflare edge routing, and AWS networking.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred).
- Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting (Datadog, OpenTelemetry, or similar).
- Ensure secure secret management and environment separation (dev/staging/prod).

Requirements:

- Proven experience in DevOps for microservices.
- Expertise with AWS, Kubernetes, and Cloudflare.
- Experience deploying Go or similar backend services.
- Strong background in CI/CD automation and infrastructure reliability.
- Familiarity with GitHub Actions, IaC, and container orchestration.

Budget is flexible depending on experience and scope agreement after the first milestone discussion.
