Crypto App DevOps Setup
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need an experienced DevOps engineer to take our crypto application from “works on my machine” to a fully automated, production-ready environment. The most pressing piece is solid cloud infrastructure, but a complete CI/CD pipeline and comprehensive monitoring and logging must follow close behind.
Scope of work
• Design and provision the cloud foundation that can scale with daily trading traffic while keeping security airtight.
• Build an end-to-end CI/CD pipeline so every merge triggers automated tests and one-click (or better, zero-click) deploys.
• Introduce monitoring, alerting, and log aggregation with sensible dashboards for latency, error rates, and unusual wallet activity.
• Document every step and hand off clear runbooks to our backend team working in NestJS/PostgreSQL.
• Fix our current .env handling so secrets never leak yet remain easy to rotate.
• Set up fool-proof deploy and rollback flows—we want to revert in seconds if a release misbehaves.
• Identify and implement ways to cut infrastructure spend, including trimming unnecessary Prisma-related charges.
Acceptance criteria
– Cloud infrastructure provisioned via IaC with repeatable, version-controlled code
– CI/CD jobs green from commit to production, including automated rollback verification
– Dashboards and alerts firing from the first day of production traffic
– Knowledge base and runbooks stored in our repo or Confluence, reviewed with the team
– Demonstrable cost reduction compared with our current monthly bill
