Cloud / DevOps Engineer Needed to Set Up Production & Staging Environments on AWS

I’m looking for an experienced Cloud / DevOps Engineer to design and set up production and staging environments on AWS for a simple application.

The application consists of:

3 application modules (each in its own GitHub repository)

1 database

The goal is to establish a clean, secure, and scalable cloud setup suitable for ongoing development and production use.

Scope of Work:

Design AWS architecture for staging and production

Set up infrastructure on AWS (networking, compute, storage, database)

Configure CI/CD pipelines from GitHub

Environment separation (staging vs production)

Deployment automation

Basic monitoring/logging

Security best practices (IAM, secrets management, etc.)

Documentation of setup and deployment process

Technical Requirements (preferred, but open to recommendations):

AWS (EC2 / ECS / EKS / Lambda — open to your suggestion)

Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar)

CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar)

Experience deploying multi-repo applications

Experience with relational or NoSQL databases on AWS

Deliverables:

Fully working staging and production environments

Automated deployment pipeline for all 3 modules

Database provisioned and connected

Clear documentation for future maintenance

Ideal Candidate:

Proven experience as a Cloud / DevOps Engineer

Strong knowledge of AWS services

Comfortable working with GitHub repositories

Able to propose best practices and explain design choices

Budget & Timeline:

Open to proposals (please include estimated cost and timeline)

This is a short-term setup project, with possible ongoing work
