We need an experienced Solr developer to migrate our existing SOLR 4.4.0 instance to version 9.10 on a new DigitalOcean droplet.
Your Responsibilities:
Convert schema.xml to managed-schema format for SOLR 9.10 compatibility
Update and validate solrconfig.xml for version 9.x
Review field definitions, analyzers, and tokenizers for breaking changes
Test query syntax, API calls, and search results post-migration
Collaborate with DevOps during data migration and cutover
Verify application integration and search functionality
