AWS DevOps for E-invoicing SaaS Platform
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
AWS Cloud / DevOps Engineer — Multi-Region Landing Zone (me-central-1 + me-south-1 DR)
We are standing up the cloud foundation for a regulated e-invoicing SaaS platform serving Oman's national Fawtara mandate. Hard go-live 25 July 2026. We need a senior AWS / DevOps engineer to build the landing zone and delivery pipeline now, with light ongoing support afterwards.
Scope (initial setup):
• Multi-region architecture: UAE (me-central-1) primary + Bahrain (me-south-1) disaster recovery
• Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform preferred) for VPC, ECS/EKS, RDS PostgreSQL (Multi-AZ), S3 with Object Lock, IAM, Application Load Balancer, Route 53, CloudFront, KMS, Secrets Manager, CloudWatch
• CI/CD pipeline with blue-green (or canary) deployment
• Backup and disaster-recovery runbook with defined recovery objectives; monitoring and alerting
• Security hardening aligned to ISO/IEC 27001
Required experience:
• Senior AWS plus strong Terraform — Infrastructure-as-Code, not console click-ops
• Production experience in AWS Middle East regions (me-central-1 / me-south-1) strongly preferred
• Container orchestration (ECS/EKS), CI/CD, blue-green deployment
• Networking, least-privilege IAM, KMS / secrets management, observability
To be considered, please answer these in your bid (bids that skip them will be ignored):
1. Have you run production workloads in me-central-1 or me-south-1? Which?
2. Share a sample of Terraform you have written (repo link or snippet).
3. Describe a real blue-green or canary deployment you shipped.
4. How would you structure primary + DR across these two regions, and what recovery point and recovery time objectives (RPO/RTO) would you target?
Engagement: fixed-price or hourly for the setup phase, immediate start, then a part-time retainer for ongoing operations. We will start with a short paid task. AWS certifications (Solutions Architect / DevOps Professional) a plus — please link them.
