AWS DevOps Engineer for CI/CD

I’m looking for an experienced DevOps professional who can take full ownership of our AWS environment. The core of the engagement is to automate everything that can be automated, starting with end-to-end CI/CD, codified infrastructure, and solid monitoring and logging.

What I need done
• Build or refine a reliable CI/CD pipeline so every commit flows smoothly from repository to production with zero manual touch points.
• Convert all existing AWS resources into Infrastructure as Code; I’m comfortable with Terraform, CloudFormation, or your preferred tool as long as the result is version-controlled and reproducible.
• Establish comprehensive monitoring and logging—dashboards, metrics, and alerting—so issues surface before users ever notice.

Deliverables & acceptance
1. A CI/CD pipeline that automatically tests, builds, and deploys on merge and can roll back cleanly.
2. IaC files in a dedicated Git repository, with clear README instructions.
3. Monitoring and logging configured across the stack with at least one example alert verified in a test run.
4. A brief hand-off session (live or recorded) walking me through the setup and daily operational tasks.

Everything runs on AWS, so deep familiarity with its services is essential. Time zone overlap isn’t critical, but clear communication and written documentation are. If you thrive on automation and can demonstrate previous wins in similar AWS DevOps work, I’d love to hear how you’d approach this.
