AWS DevOps Deployment & Optimization -- 2

Our application is already running on AWS, but only the basics are in place. EC2 instances, S3 buckets and a handful of Lambda functions are provisioned; what’s missing is the polish that turns a half-finished environment into a reliable, secure and fully automated platform.

Here’s what I need next:
• Deploy and configure each of those services properly—launch templates and autoscaling for EC2, life-cycle rules and versioning on S3, and environment-appropriate aliases for Lambda.
• Introduce monitoring and optimization using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, custom metrics and alerting so that health, performance and cost stay transparent at all times.
• Tighten security and compliance—harden IAM roles and policies, enable encryption at rest and in transit, and ensure logs flow to a central, immutable location.

CI/CD is already in GitHub; you’re welcome to recommend CodePipeline, CodeBuild or another toolset if it trims complexity. Terraform or CloudFormation knowledge will be appreciated because the end state must be fully reproducible as infrastructure-as-code.

I’ll provide current account diagrams, IAM access and recent terraform state files as soon as we start. Success is a push-button deployment that passes an agreed security review, lights up with green dashboards and keeps monthly costs predictable.
