AEM Developer (AEM as a Cloud Service) – Independent Contractor – Full Project Ownership

I’m looking for an experienced Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) developer to take full ownership of a cloud-based implementation project.

This is a freelance/contract role. You will be responsible for delivering the solution independently — from setup to production-ready deployment. I am not looking for an agency team or junior developer. This role requires hands-on experience and the ability to work autonomously.

Project Scope

The project involves:
AEM as a Cloud Service implementation
Asset-heavy content structure
Dispatcher configuration and performance optimization
Cloud Manager CI/CD pipeline setup
REST API integrations
Frontend-driven AEM components
Analytics/tag integration
You will be expected to manage development, configuration, optimization, and deployment without step-by-step supervision.

Required Experience (Please Do Not Apply If You Don’t Meet These)
5+ years of hands-on AEM development experience
Proven experience with AEM as a Cloud Service
Strong understanding of JCR and content structure
Experience configuring and troubleshooting Dispatcher
Experience with Cloud Manager pipelines
HTL (Sightly), Sling Models, and component development
REST API integration experience
Experience with AEM Assets and bulk ingestion
Solid understanding of performance optimization strategies
Git-based workflow and CI/CD experience

Experience working in asset-heavy enterprise environments
