I need a reliable desktop specialist to troubleshoot a handful of software-installation issues on my MacOS workstation. The main focus is getting “desktop specialist” applications fully installed, configured, and running without conflicts or permission errors.
Scope of work
• Diagnose and resolve installation failures, missing dependencies, or licensing hiccups.
• Verify the software launches correctly and communicates with any required services.
• Create a clear, step-by-step reference guide so I can repeat the process on other Macs.
• Recommend best-practice settings, security considerations, and any useful automation (e.g., shell scripts or Homebrew commands) to streamline future installs.
Helpful details
• All machines are running the latest stable MacOS.
• Remote access (AnyDesk, TeamViewer, or SSH) can be arranged, but I’m open to written walkthroughs first if that speeds things up.
• I’d like everything wrapped up within a month, though I’m happy to schedule sessions around your availability.
