Expert OpenCore Developer for Custom AMD Hackintosh Build
I'm looking for a highly experienced OpenCore developer to create a custom EFI for my desktop, built around a Ryzen 9 CPU and a 2TB NVMe SSD on a Gigabyte motherboard. The end result must be a perfectly stable system that reliably boots the latest macOS Sonoma directly from the NVMe drive for daily use.
This is not a beginner project. Please apply only if you have deep, hands-on experience with the complexities of AMD-based systems.
Key Responsibilities & Technical Requirements:
EFI from Scratch: You will build a new config.plist using the latest stable OpenCore release. No downloaded or modified pre-built EFIs from other users.
Custom ACPI Patching (Crucial): Dump my motherboard's DSDT to create hardware-specific SSDTs from scratch (e.g., SSDT-EC, SSDT-PLUG-AMD, SSDT-USBX). You must not use a collection of generic .aml files.
Meticulous USB Mapping: Perform a full USB port mapping and deliver a final EFI with a custom USB map kext or SSDT. The temporary USBInjectAll.kext must be removed.
AMD Kernel Patches & Power Management: Apply the correct AMD-OSX kernel patches for Sonoma and ensure CPU power management is fully functional and optimized.
Full Hardware Enablement:
Enable the GPU with full graphics acceleration.
Configure onboard Realtek audio using AppleALC and the correct alcid boot-arg.
Ensure the onboard Ethernet port is working reliably.
Total System Stability:
The final configuration must support 100% working iServices (iMessage, FaceTime, etc.) with properly generated PlatformInfo.
Sleep/wake functionality must be stable and reliable.
The system must be capable of receiving Over-The-Air (OTA) macOS updates.
Final Deliverables:
A clean, organized, and minimal EFI folder tailored to my hardware.
A detailed list of all required BIOS/UEFI settings for my Gigabyte motherboard.
A brief README file in the EFI folder documenting the build.
