Tkinter UI Visual Refresh
Budget: €12 – €18 EUR
I have a very compact Python program built with tkinter that works fine functionally, yet its look and feel is still stuck in the default grey of classic widgets. I want the interface to feel clean, modern and visually engaging without changing any of the underlying logic. Your goal is to revisit every colour, font, widget style and micro-interaction so the window immediately feels polished when it opens.
The codebase is tiny—only a handful of files—so most of your time will be spent experimenting with ttk styling, custom themes, iconography and subtle layout tweaks that lift the overall visual appeal. I am open to lightweight external libraries (e.g. ttkthemes, Pillow for better icons) as long as setup remains simple for the end user: a quick pip install and run.
Please tell me about previous tkinter or desktop-GUI work where you turned a plain interface into something attractive; concrete screenshots or repos are welcome. If you have a favourite approach for theme management in tkinter, let me know—that experience will help us move quickly.
Deliverable: the updated Python source with clear comments around any new style or asset files so I can extend the theme later, plus a short “before vs after” screenshot set to confirm the visual upgrade.
