Full Stack Software Engineer to Build Cybersecurity SaaS MVP (Desktop + Web App)

An international cybersecurity services company is seeking an experienced full-stack software engineer to help build the first iteration of a new cybersecurity SaaS product delivered as a desktop and web application. You will be working directly with the product owner (PO) from the company’s international team who is based in Tokyo.
Job Description
The PO will provide a full product requirements document after initial screening.
Suggest appropriate modifications to the product architecture and design described in product requirements document based on practical and efficient development choices
Build a multilingual enterprise customer facing desktop and web-application that integrates several open source capabilities
Front-end:
Select and deploy most appropriate framework for desktop and web application development based on product requirements
Apply and modify open-source UI templates to represent elements described in product requirements document
Ensure functionality of open-source capabilities integrated through back-end are adequately represented in web application UI
Back-end:
Integrate PO recommended open-source capabilities into desktop and web application
Ensure efficient and secure deployment and usage of cloud infrastructure (including web servers and databases)
Set-up and provide access to cloud infrastructure monitoring capability
Ensure databases are appropriately segregated, managed and secured
Test software to ensure adequate performance
Troubleshoot, debug and update software
Create security and data protection settings
Provide all requested code and product documentation
Work with product owner to ideate additional product features and capabilities
Ideally this would spark the beginning of a long-term engagement based on the commercial success of the product.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Demonstrable experience (1year+) building customer-facing enterprise SaaS desktop and web applications
Relevant education and training in software development
Proficiency in multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)
Proficiency in relevant back-end languages (e.g. C#, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js)
Familiarity with desktop application development frameworks (e.g. .NET, Cocoa, Electron, Swing)
Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Great attention to detail
Organizational skills
An analytical mind
Excellent debugging and optimization skills

Experience, knowledge and interest in cybersecurity
Experience or knowledge of deploying cloud powered automated translation solutions (E.g. Google, Azure, Amazon, IBM Watson)
