Full Stack Developer needed - Node.js, React.js.
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
Hiring a full-stack software engineer to work with a Silicon Valley startup.
We are hiring a principal developer with substantial experience with the above technologies, which can also critically rethink existing mechanisms. The core objective is to ensure that the app's technological foundation will scale with minor friction in the coming years.
The tasks for the following months include:
- adding new features based on the short-term requirements of customers and our legal experts
- refactoring parts of the code to reflect state-of-the-art software architecture principles, including a critical rethinking of existing mechanisms
- increasing test coverage and performance
- documentation of core features
- preparing the app for internationalization
The team will work in bi-weekly sprints with a clear definition of tasks to achieve. There will also be the need for in-depth design sessions, where we discuss architecture and make decisions that will have a lasting impact.

Qualifications:
- You have 5+ Years of Experience Building Software
- You are comfortable in an agile environment.
- You consider yourself a self-starter and team leader and can work with loose requirements.
- You have a passion for building customer-centric software.
- You deeply understand Typescript/NodeJS application design and development.
- You have expert knowledge of React and standard tools used in the wider React ecosystem, such as Node.js, Webpack, Redux and yarn.
- You have expert knowledge of Git.
- You have experience building and managing RESTful API’s.
- You have an understanding of database technologies such as (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) and NoSQL Stores (Redis, Firestore, MongoDB, Elasticsearch)
- You have a strong understanding of Cloud Deployment using GCP/AWS. (We use GCP)
Your Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve React Components and Features.
- Contribute and drive ideas for new development capabilities and bring them to fruition.
- Own and support the implementation of React services and agile development technologies in areas of software development.
- Maintain and update project dependencies as well as fix any conflicts.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code as well as unit tests.
- Capture, document, and share best-practice knowledge amongst the team.
- Partner with various development teams across the engineering organization.
