The core build must come with an up-to-date medicine database that the program can populate automatically on first run, eliminating manual data entry for common drugs.
Key functional areas
• Inventory management – the software should keep real-time stock counts, flag upcoming expiries, log breakage, and maintain complete purchase & sale histories that I can filter by supplier, batch, or date.
• Prescription tracking – attach scanned or e-prescriptions to each sale, link them to the patient record, and allow quick re-fills.
• Sales reports – daily, monthly, and custom-range summaries covering revenue, profit, fast-moving items, and slow stock. Export to Excel or PDF is essential.
Additional requirements
1. Modules for SALE, PURCHASE, STOCK, EXPIRY, and BREAKAGE must be visible in the main navigation.
2. An online CRM panel should generate and validate license keys so I can activate, suspend, or renew client installations remotely without touching the local machine.
