Desktop HVAC Software with BMS
Budget: $5,000 – $10,000 USD
I need a full-featured HVAC application that runs natively on both Windows and macOS and exchanges real-time data with our existing Building Management System (BMS). At this stage I am keeping the functional scope flexible, so you are welcome to propose the ideal mix of temperature control, energy-efficiency dashboards, maintenance alerts, or any other modules you feel add real value. What matters most is clean, intuitive UI/UX and rock-solid BMS interoperability.
You will be responsible for:
• Designing and building the desktop client (preferred stack is up to you, provided it delivers smooth cross-platform performance).
• Implementing the data bridge that lets the app read from and write to the BMS using its documented API.
• Packaging reliable installers for both OSs and supplying concise user documentation.
Acceptance criteria will include seamless connection to a test BMS instance, stable operation under normal load for 48 hrs, and delivery of all build/source files. If you have prior experience with HVAC controls or BMS integrations, please highlight it—those examples will carry weight when I choose the developer.
