Desktop CRM with WhatsApp Integration

I need a desktop-based CRM that keeps my entire customer journey in one place. The core of the app is straightforward contact management: add, edit, tag and search records quickly, with bulk import/export so my existing CSV files drop straight in.
On top of that, I rely on structured call follow-ups. Each contact should carry a timeline that lets me schedule the next call in just a click, trigger reminders at the right moment and mark outcomes so I can see what still needs attention.
WhatsApp is how many of my clients prefer to talk, so native WhatsApp API integration is non-negotiable. I want to send and receive messages from inside the CRM, and keep a full chat history synced to each contact’s record—no jumping between windows.
To give me a clear picture of performance, the system must generate simple, filterable reports and dashboards. I also need email and calendar integration so meetings, tasks and follow-ups appear automatically in my usual workflow.
Deliverables
• Desktop application (Windows; cross-platform is a plus) with installer and full source code
• Contact module, call follow-up scheduler and reminder engine
• WhatsApp API connectivity with chat sync aligned to contacts
• Built-in reporting & analytics, email hook-up and calendar sync
• Database schema, setup guide and brief user manual
Acceptance criteria
1. I can import a sample CSV and see contacts instantly.
2. Creating a follow-up populates my calendar and triggers a desktop alert at the set time.
3. A WhatsApp message sent from the CRM appears both in the app and on my phone in real time.
4. The “Calls Due Today” report updates automatically and exports to PDF without errors.
Use any stack you prefer—Electron, .NET, Java, Python or another—provided the final build is stable, the code is well commented and installation is painless for a non-technical user.
