Custom Desktop Application for Video Streaming and Recording
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Description: I am looking for a skilled developer to create a custom desktop application for video streaming and recording. The application will need to connect to three PTZ cameras and allow the user to control the camera angles through a user-friendly interface and the fourth video source for any external monitor using video capture unit. It should also be able to record and playback video footage and allow the user to annotate (preset icons or drag/drop icons) and write some feedback/comments.
In addition to these requirements, the application should have a start/stop button for recording and a push-to-talk feature using the camera's built-in microphone. The application will be installed on a dedicated laptop with a router and extender and should be optimized for reliable connectivity. It should also be designed with storage limitations in mind, as the laptop has only 2TB of storage.
The application can create and customize skills checklists with the name of the students.
The ideal candidate will have experience with video streaming and recording, as well as developing custom desktop applications. They should also be comfortable working with PTZ cameras and integrating their control into the application, as well as implementing start/stop and push-to-talk features. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are also important.
