E-Commerce Desktop Application Development
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m launching a full-featured e-commerce desktop application and need an experienced full-stack developer to take it from concept to a polished, installable product. The app must feel as smooth as a modern website while running locally on the user’s machine, so I’m counting on you for both the interface and the underlying business logic.
Here’s what I have in mind: a clean, responsive storefront that lets customers browse a product catalog, add items to a cart, check out securely with multiple payment gateways, and track orders from their account dashboard. On the admin side I’ll need inventory and order management, user and role controls, basic analytics, and a settings panel where I can toggle promotions or update shipping rules without touching code.
I’m flexible on the exact tech stack—Electron with Node.js, .NET (WPF/MAUI), or Python with PyQt are all fine as long as the final build is stable and easy to install on Windows (bonus points for macOS or cross-platform packaging). Whichever route you choose, please structure the project for maintainability, document setup steps, and include automated tests that prove core flows work.
Deliverables will be:
• Source code in a public or private repository of my choice
• Installer/builds for the target OSs
• A short deployment & maintenance guide
• Brief walk-through or screen-share handoff at the end
If you have previous desktop e-commerce work, I’d love to see it. Looking forward to collaborating!
