Build Windows Lyor Mod Installer

Job ID: 40526351

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I need the very first release of the Lyor desktop app built specifically for Windows. Its core job is simple yet technical: let gamers install, manage, and roll back custom language packs or keyboard-layout tweaks for any supported PC title with a single click. Version 1 is Windows-only; other operating systems can wait for later road-maps.

The interface must be fully custom—not a reskinned template—and feel modern and lightweight. Account creation will rely solely on classic email-and-password registration; no social logins are required at this stage. Inside the app I also expect a premium tier, activation-code handling, automatic game detection, path discovery for common launchers, seamless backup of originals before patching, and one-click install / uninstall of downloaded packs. Turkish and Hebrew support are the first language families in scope, so the architecture has to keep future packs in mind.

On the back end you will wire an admin console where I can add new games, upload language-pack builds, and push versioned updates to clients. Automatic updating of the app itself is mandatory.

At hand-off every line of source, build script, and design asset becomes the property of LYOR. Please include:

• a concise breakdown of technologies / frameworks you propose (for instance Electron, .NET WPF, or native C++ with Qt—whichever you feel suits the brief)
• your ballpark development timeline and milestone schedule
• a cost estimate split by major phase if possible
• links or screenshots of any similar desktop tools you have shipped, especially ones dealing with game modding, patch management, launchers, or SaaS licence tiers

Deliverables I will accept:
1. Signed-off UI/UX mock-ups for the fully custom design
2. Compiled Windows installer and version-controlled source repository
3. Admin panel (web or embedded) with documentation
4. Deployment, update, and rollback instructions plus a short hand-over session

If you have questions about implementation details—such as preferred encryption for activation codes or the update distribution method—let me know in your proposal so we can lock them down early. I look forward to seeing how you would bring the LYOR vision to life.

The application is NOT a game.

It is a Windows desktop utility that manages game modification files, language packs, backups, installation and restoration.
