Build an Alarm Clock Application for Windows
Budget: $30 – $250 NZD
Project Brief
This is a one-off project to develop a basic Windows based application which plays a selected YouTube video at the set time. I am looking for a developer to build an application which can be installed and operated on a Windows OS by a user with basic IT knowledge.
Specifications
My requirements are as follows:
1. The application must work on Windows 10
2. The application must be installed on the Users desktop, with an icon of an alarm clock
3. The application installation process must be user friendly. The only input needed from the user is to download the installation file and run the installation file. The installation process must occur automatically.
4. The application must have a UI that looks like an alarm clock (either digital or analog). This can be very basic but at a minimum, must allow the user to:
a. Set a location or time zone
b. Display the current time based on the location or time zone selected
c. Set a future time for the alarm to go off
d. Enter a URL for a YouTube video. This video should play in a browser when the alarm goes off
5. The application must have a “Close” icon or “Quit” functionality which will terminate the application when clicked.
6. The application UI must be in English.
Timeline
I need the completed product by 8 October 2022.
I would like to have a prototype by 1 October 2022 for feedback and review.
