Budget: $30 – $250 USD
This design project will cover the following salient domains, keeping in view preconceived power, weight and volume constraints of Mirage V variant:
- Understanding of mission capability required for ground
attack role
- Understanding of Integrated Avionics System
Architecture through examples
- Self-development of a conceptual outlook for Ground
Attack Aircraft
- Sensors selection through COTS systems available on
internet
- Electrical Load, Weight and Volume Analysis for selected systems
- Avionics Bus selection and employment scheme for integration of selected systems - Building interconnect diagram of Avionics Suite
conceived from selected systems
Capability assessment of self-conceived design with
weak areas identification
Deliverables: Technical report covering following:
1) Review of Avionics Architecture vis-à-vis aircraft role with examples .
2) Sensors and Bus selection research work .
3) Suite Design / interconnection, Power, Weight and Volume Analysis .
4) Capability Analysis and Conclusion .
5 ) presentation about the design of the avionics suite (weightage = 20 - 25% of overall design project).
