Custom Wix Website for "Dominium: Our Hidden Reality"

Job ID: 40404057

Budget: £250 – £750 GBP

Project Details

I need a Wix Studio professional to design and build a premium custom website for my book Dominium: Our Hidden Reality. I am not looking for a standard Wix template or a basic portfolio layout. I need a refined editorial/book-style website that closely follows my visual references and draft sketches while being rebuilt properly as a real, responsive Wix Studio website.

The website should reproduce the dark green and gold visual identity of the book: textured backgrounds, elegant gold details, subtle ornamental borders, serif typography, image panels, custom cards, cinematic lighting, and an intellectual, mysterious, high-end publishing feel. The design should look like an extension of the book cover and the Dominium project, not like a generic author website.

English should be the default language, with a clear PT/EN language switch visible in the top-right area of the header.

Pages and main sections

The website should include:

• Home page
• About the Book
• Articles
• Research
• Videos
• Contact
• Buy the Book button
• Learn More/About the Book button

The main page should work as a strong landing page for the book, introducing the project, the book, the research areas, and the key calls to action.

Important design direction

I already have visual references and draft sketches for the homepage and inner pages. These references should be used as the main creative direction for the project. The goal is not to copy a generic Wix theme, but to transform my sketches into a polished, professional, responsive Wix Studio website.

The desktop version should remain as faithful as possible to the mockups, including the dark green textured atmosphere, gold ornamental frame, book cover presentation, editorial layout, custom research cards, article cards, and elegant buttons.

For tablet and mobile, the design should be adapted intelligently rather than simply squeezed into a smaller screen. The mobile version can simplify some decorative elements, stack cards vertically, and adjust the ornamental frame so that the site remains readable, fast, and elegant.

Technical requirements

The site should preferably be built in Wix Studio, not only the standard Wix Editor, because I need more control over layout, responsiveness, spacing, layers, and visual precision.

The pages must not be exported as one large flat image. Text must remain real, editable, SEO-readable website text. Buttons, menus, headings, paragraphs, article cards, and navigation must be built as real Wix elements.

Decorative elements such as frames, borders, corner ornaments, textures, icons, and background details can be used as optimized image assets, preferably PNG, SVG, or WebP depending on the element. However, the structure of the website should remain editable inside Wix.

Custom CSS or Wix Studio advanced styling may be used if needed to achieve the closest possible result.

Design requirements

• Premium, sophisticated, editorial look
• Dark green and antique gold palette
• Subtle ornamental frame inspired by the book cover
• Textured background with depth and atmosphere
• Serif typography with elegant spacing
• Real editable text, not text embedded in images
• Responsive desktop, tablet, and mobile versions
• Clean navigation with Home, About the Book, Research, Videos, and Contact
• Visible EN / PT language option in the header
• Custom cards for Research and Articles pages
• Strong visual relationship with the book cover
• Ability for me to update text, articles, videos, and images later inside Wix
• Optimized images for fast loading and good visual quality
• Basic SEO setup for the book, author, research themes, and articles

What I expect from the freelancer

I need someone who can work with a custom visual direction, not just replace images and text in an existing template. The freelancer should be comfortable creating a polished Wix Studio website from supplied mockups and should be able to advise on the best way to separate the design into real website elements, optimized assets, and responsive sections.

The first milestone should ideally be the Home page only, including desktop and mobile versions, so we can confirm that the visual style is achievable before building the rest of the site.

After the Home page is approved, the same design language should be applied to the inner pages: About the Book, Research, Articles, Videos, and Contact.

Final goal

The final website should feel like a premium online gateway to Dominium: Our Hidden Reality: elegant, mysterious, scholarly, cinematic, and directly connected to the visual identity of the book. It should support the book launch, present the research themes, host articles and videos, and guide visitors toward buying the book or learning more about the project.
