## Scope of Work
The selected engineer will be required to:
1. **Review Design Inputs**
* Sheet-metal structure drawings (2D/3D)
* Material specifications (MS / GI / SS as applicable)
* Thickness, bending profiles, stiffeners, fasteners, and joints
* Lift parameters (capacity, car weight, counterweight, guide rails, etc.)
2. **Structural Analysis**
* Static load analysis
* Dynamic load considerations (starting, stopping, emergency braking)
* Eccentric and lateral loads
* Wind load (if applicable)
* Seismic load assumptions (basic, as per applicable codes)
* Buckling and deflection checks for sheet-metal members
3. **Force & Load Capacity Calculation**
* Maximum vertical load the structure can safely carry
* Horizontal / lateral force resistance
* Stress distribution in critical members
* Factor of safety calculations
4. **Standards & Codes**
* Use relevant structural and lift standards (IS / EN / Eurocode / AISC or equivalent—please specify)
* Clearly mention assumptions used
5. **Deliverables**
* Detailed calculation report (PDF)
* Load capacity summary
* Safety factors
* Engineering remarks on design adequacy
* Suggestions (if any) for strengthening or optimization
