80 m Cable-Stayed Landmark Steel Structure Tower
Budget: $200 – $300 USD
I need a complete structural analysis and design package for an 80 m steel landmark tower that will stand immediately beside an existing bridge. The form is essentially a slender vertical shaft with two distinct horizontal elements, both of which are to be cable-stayed. The visual language must read as classic and timeless, so member proportions and connection detailing should feel elegant rather than aggressively modern.
Scope
• Build a full SAP2000 model capturing the main shaft, the two cantilevered horizontals, and all tension-cable systems.
• Optimize member sizes, cable pretension, and connection forces for strength, serviceability, and constructability.
• Deliver a calculation report that includes: model assumptions, load cases and combinations, governing code checks, deflection summaries, foundation reactions, and a clear set of member schedules.
Acceptance criteria
– SAP2000 file opens without errors and runs all combinations.
– Report shows all design checks passed for steel and cable elements.
– Key outputs (max deflection, cable forces, base reactions) are highlighted for my quick review.
Timing
The full package—model file and sealed report—has to be in my hands within 5 calendar days of award. I will provide site wind data and bridge geometry on day one so you can hit the ground running.
