Gerber-Based PCB Performance Optimization

Budget: $30 – $250 AUD

I already have a complete set of Gerber files for this board and now need them revised to squeeze more performance out of the design. The priority is tightening the tolerances that directly affect electrical behaviour. In practice that means:

• Re-examining component placement tolerances so critical parts sit exactly where the datasheet intends, avoiding chain-reaction skew in downstream stages.
• Refining trace-width tolerances to keep impedance predictable, especially on the high-speed nets.

The goal isn’t aesthetic; it’s measurable electrical improvement. Signal integrity, power, and thermal paths are already acceptable—I simply want the board to respect tighter mechanical and electrical limits so final units test flawlessly on the production line.

What I will provide:
• Current Gerber and drill files
• Assembly drawing and BoM
• Notes on the specific nets and footprints that now show the greatest drift during verification

What I expect back:
1. Updated Gerber, drill, and pick-and-place files ready for the next fabrication run
2. A brief change log outlining every tolerance adjustment and the reasoning behind it
3. DFM/DFT report confirming the design still meets standard manufacturing capabilities

If you normally work in Altium, KiCad, or even Allegro that’s fine—just keep the output exactly in the same manufacturing formats I supply. Turnaround ideally within a week once you receive the files.
