Mouse Kernel Level Mouse Driver Debug

Job ID: 39647226

Budget: $10 – $30 USD

I'm looking for a developer with kernel level development knowledge to help debug a small Windows kernel-level driver project. The driver, written in C using the Windows Driver Kit (WDK), is intended to simulate a "fake" mouse and perform a right-click action. Although the driver appears to register and start correctly, it fails to execute the click and does not appear in the device manager.

This project has been a learning project for me, it's very small and very well documented.

The Issue:
So when installing the driver using "sc create DriverName type= kernel binPath= ...\TheMouseDriver.sys" it'll say that it's running successfully and it'll even show a few success messages in WinDbg, but it doesn't appear in the Device Manager, nor does it send any input. It doesn't perform any right-clicks anywhere on the screen. Keep in mind, this is not something that controls the "main mouse" it's suppose to create a "fake" mouse and send separate inputs.

I will provide the entire project in the chat which includes the source code.

IMPORTANT!
Make sure it works before you tell me it works.
I will not continue working with you if you send me ChatGPT responses or similar.
I will not pay for anything unless it actually works.
Budget is strict, the $30 is final, no negotiating.
Let me know in your proposal that you're okay with me not paying unless you complete the job.
