Legacy .NET ERP Audit & Stabilization
Budget: $8 – $10 USD
Overview
We have a 10+ year-old .NET-based ERP system that requires a complete audit and bug resolution. We are looking for an experienced .NET developer who can dive into legacy code, identify risks, improve stability, and fix critical issues. This is not just a one-time project—we want a long-term partner who can continue supporting and enhancing the ERP.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct a full code audit to identify structural, performance, and security issues.
Fix existing bugs in modules (invoicing, stock management, reporting, etc.).
Review and optimize SQL queries, indexes, and procedures.
Improve system stability (session handling, IIS configuration, etc.).
Provide detailed documentation of fixes, changes, and improvement suggestions.
Work with us for ongoing support & enhancements after the initial fixes.
Technical Environment
Language: C#, .NET Framework (legacy stack)
Database: SQL Server
Hosting: IIS on Windows Server
Strict NDA & Data Protection
A Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is mandatory.
No source code or database data may be leaked or reused under any circumstances.
Legal actions will be taken if any misuse, data theft, or breach of confidentiality occurs.
What We Expect
6–10+ years experience in .NET legacy applications.
Strong debugging and SQL Server optimization skills.
Clear communication and structured reporting.
Long-term availability for future support & upgrades.
Deliverables
Full audit report with findings & recommendations.
Fixes for critical bugs (we will provide a prioritized list).
Optimized SQL queries and performance improvements.
Documentation of changes, deployment notes, and rollback plans.
Agreement to continue with us for ongoing ERP support.
Application Instructions
Please include:
Similar projects you’ve done (legacy ERP / .NET audit + fixes).
Your approach to handling unknown old codebases.
Proposed milestone structure (Audit → Bug Fixes → Stabilization → Ongoing Support).
Confirmation of NDA compliance.
Your availability and communication style.
Budget & Timeline
Budget will be milestone-based (Audit → Bug Batch 1 → Bug Batch 2 → Long-term support).
Timeline flexible depending on bug complexity, but we expect first fixes within 1–2 weeks.
