Joomla Admin SERA Tool Fix

Our internal SERA tool stopped working inside the Joomla 3.x admin area right after we applied the latest SERA component update. There are no visible error messages and the layout still renders correctly, but key actions no longer trigger—data won’t process, reports remain blank, and buttons feel unresponsive. I need someone who can jump into the back-end, trace where the functionality is breaking, and restore everything so the tool behaves exactly as it did before the update.
You should be fully comfortable debugging Joomla extensions, working with PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and the usual Joomla MVC structure. If you spot a cleaner way to implement the fix—whether that’s rewiring a helper class, correcting a model query, or rolling back a problematic patch—please outline it before applying changes so we can keep the codebase tidy and upgrade-safe.
