Fix my python scripts

My Python project is almost finished, but a few stubborn errors are preventing it from running smoothly. I need a sharp-eyed developer to review the current codebase, locate and eliminate the bugs, then hand the script back in working order.

You can expect fairly clean, well-commented code that just needs that last debugging pass. The main deliverables I’m looking for are:

• A fully functioning script that executes without raising exceptions
• A concise summary (comment block or separate file) noting what you changed and why

Once the fixes are in, the script should run end-to-end with correct output on the existing test data. If you spot quick optimizations along the way, feel free to include them, but bug-free execution is the priority.
