Fix Urgent Header Search Bug

The search bar in my site’s header has stopped responding and I need it working again immediately. This is a functional issue only—the visual layout stays intact, but any click or keystroke in the search field returns no action on both desktop and mobile.

I will invite the selected freelancer to a brief video call before we start so we can look at the behaviour together and confirm scope; if you are unable to join a live video interview please skip this project.

Once we agree on access details (staging link or zipped theme files), I expect:

• a clean fix that restores full search functionality in the header across modern browsers
• a short note explaining what you changed so I can maintain it later

Turnaround is ASAP—ideally within the next few hours of hire. If you have deep experience debugging JavaScript, theme headers, or search-related scripts, you’ll knock this out quickly.
