Fix Shopify FOUC Issue
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
Every time a shopper clicks a collection link, my store briefly reveals the raw filter array before the page finishes styling—classic Flash of Unstyled Content. I’m running a paid Shopify theme and an ex-colleague made code and app tweaks that I can’t trace, so I don’t know whether the problem sits in theme liquid, an injected script, or a recent app.
What I need from you
• Pinpoint the exact source of the FOUC (theme code, app asset, or conflicting CSS/JS).
• Apply a clean fix so the filter panel never flashes unstyled, on all collection pages and devices.
• Document the change in simple terms so I can maintain it going forward.
Please work in a duplicate theme or a short-term development store, then push the clean code live once we confirm the flash is gone.
