Fix Random Booking Availability Bug

Our in-house hotel management platform occasionally shows rooms as free when they’re already booked, and it happens without any clear pattern. The issue is isolated to the booking module—payments, dashboards, and other areas work fine—yet this single flaw creates double work at reception and unhappy guests.

I need someone who can dig into the booking logic, trace why inventory counts drift from reality, and patch the code so room availability is always accurate. You’ll have access to the full repository, database clone, and a staging server for live testing.

Acceptance criteria:
• Root cause identified and documented.
• Availability for every room type stays consistent after 500+ automated test bookings.
• No regression in existing booking or payment flows.
• A brief change log and upgrade steps supplied so my in-house admin can deploy the fix confidently.
