Fix PHP Bug

Job ID: 40121706

Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD

My WooCommerce site suddenly stopped behaving as it should and I have traced the problem to the main index.php file. Pages load, but one key piece of functionality no longer responds, and I need a PHP-savvy WordPress developer to dive straight into that file, pinpoint the root cause, correct it, and make sure the store runs flawlessly again.

Nothing on the site was updated recently—no plugins, no theme tweaks—so the issue is buried in the template logic or its WooCommerce hooks. You will need to review the file structure, evaluate how the template calls WooCommerce functions, and patch any faulty queries, deprecated functions, or conflicting includes you uncover.

Deliverables
• Repaired index.php (clean, commented code)
• Brief log of the bug’s cause and the fix you applied
• Confirmation that all storefront features, cart, and checkout remain intact after the patch

Please work on a staging copy or back up the file before you begin. Once everything is verified, I’ll move your fix to production.
