Fix Node.js Startup Crash

My Node.js-based site stops cold the moment it starts. I know it is a runtime error triggered right at startup, but I’m not seeing a clear stack trace or message. I need someone who can:

• pull the project, replicate the startup crash, and isolate the root cause
• implement a clean, minimal fix without breaking existing functionality
• explain what went wrong and document any code changes (file names, lines edited, commands run) so I can maintain the patch going forward

The repo is ready to share, and install/setup is straightforward (standard npm install && npm start flow). If you prefer a particular diagnostic tool or logging package, feel free to bring it—just keep dependencies lightweight.
